HumanRights360’s field experiences of the enormous challenges and the often-catastrophic consequences faced by people willing to apply for asylum on mainland Greece during their long efforts to access the asylum system through Skype, are included in the “Lives on Hold Report” as written & published by Mobile Info Team. The report highlights the impasse facing hundreds of people seeking asylum, waiting even more than a year to connect via Skype with the Asylum Service, while being deprived of access to vital services and running the constant risk of being placed in administrative detention due to lack of legal documents in the country.
