On November 2017, 14 asylum seekers began a hunger strike with the demand of being transferred to Germany. Their demand was based on the already accepted family reunification claim that was being delayed because of diplomatic arrangements between the Greek and German government. HumanRights360 made an intervention on the issue, analyzing that the implementation of existing rules and legislation should not be put in peril.
