Athens, Greece, March, 28 – We are pleased to announce that HumanRights360 is the first organization of Civil Society and among the first 18 organizations nationwide to be awarded the Gender Equality Label of SHARE Project. HumanRights360, since its inception and throughout its actions and interventions, has been committed to upholding and promoting values of high moral standard and significant social impact, a fact that permeates its presence both at the public and internal level. We are committed to promoting and advocating for equality, diversity, and respect while ensuring a balanced and encouraging work environment, which promotes reconciliation of work and personal life and gender equality of care.
This award reflects the organization’s dual programmatic and managerial commitment to promoting gender equality. We aim to include vulnerable women (such as immigrants and refugees, and homeless women) in our programs by providing integrated services and adapting these programs to their needs for support and empowerment. Additionally, the organization is committed to continuing the application of policies already implemented internally. This includes maintaining a zero gender pay gap and improving the information and consultation of employees, further developing policies to reconcile work and family / private life, forming a single corporate culture on gender-related issues, and the prevention and response to violence and harassment cases.
The Gender Equality Label of the SHARE Project reflects the effective promotion of practices and initiatives within companies aimed at gender equality. It is awarded for the first time in Greece by Partnership of the General Secretariat for Family Policy and Gender Equality (Coordinator), the Center for Research on Equality (KETHI) and the Organization for the Professional Empowerment of women – Women On Top, with the co-financing of the Program “Rights, Equality and Citizenship” of the European Union.
