HumanRights360 announces the creation of the “360 Greek City”, a mobile game, aiming to support with an alternative way, the adjustment and integration of migrants and refugees in the Greek society.
Often the needs of young people (mainly) are not met, despite the offered existing means of information. This results in frustration and disappointment from the non-fulfillment of their personal goals. The creation of this application aims to provide more targeted and adjusted information.
Gamification applications increase the motivation of individuals to learn and process information and procedures. “360 Greek City” aims to provide information about education, job search and issuance of documents, effective response to emergency situations, the search of a house and the improvement of social life.
During the development of the app, HumanRights360 ensured fair and secure access as possible by:
- Elimination of the use of sexist speech and use of gender-adjusted speech, as well as the use of heroes of different sexes/genders.
- The app is available in English, Arabic, French and Farsi. Greek is available (with some minor adjustments), so that the content and purpose of the application is understood by professionals who would like to support their beneficiaries.
- Simplified graphics were used to make the app work on low-end phones (however, the appropriate software is considered the Android 9+). The application requires the use of internet, only in its installation: the game is played offline.
- The game does not collect any personal data.
360 Greek City is available:
