HumanRights360 in cooperation with ΣΟΛ Crowe are the Fund Operators of the programmes «Local Development & Poverty Reduction» and «Asylum and Migration» (2019 – 2024) funded by the EEA Grants.

Total Budget: 16.500.000 EUR

  1. “Improving the quality of accommodation and other services provided in open reception centers” by establishing open accommodation facilities for vulnerable asylum seekers in Greece. The action aims to provide at least 300 housing places in open reception facilities in urban and semi-urban areas, of which 225 will be for unaccompanied minors and 75 will be for other categories of vulnerable asylum seekers, with priority to a) pregnant women and b) in single parent families. The entities responsible for the implementation of the program above will be selected after an open call for proposals which will be published October 30 2019.
  2. “Improving the capacity of Greece’s key institutions to ensure the protection of vulnerable asylum seekers, especially unaccompanied minors” by developing their technical capacity for decent reception and protection of the rights of migrants and asylum seekers. The aim of the project is to ensure the gradual independence of the beneficiaries from the international community. With the Reception and Identification Service and the co-operation of the National Center for Social Solidarity (EKKA) to protect vulnerable asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors and survivors of human trafficking.

  3. “Improving the Operational Procedures and the Capacity of the Greek Asylum Service and Appeals Committees” by ensuring quality asylum procedures and free legal aid to vulnerable asylum seekers. Implemented by: UNHCR.
  4. “Ensuring the smooth and voluntary return of migrants or vulnerable groups” through assisted voluntary return and the reintegration of vulnerable persons. ” Implemented by: International Organization for Migration (IOM).
